Norman McLaren was a film director and animator who did extraordinary work for his time, thus winning many film awards. We have two videos from Norman Mclaren. The first one is Pen Point Percussion that involves drawing sound on a film strip then playing it through a moviola. The second video is those hand drawn sounds with video added which makes a timeless piece of cinema.
Taking those funky and weird sounds and making a video that by today's standards is still a work of film genius.
