Nujabes - Luv sic pt 2
11/4/2009 9:34:05 AM

Smooth beats with complementary lyrics from Japan's Nujabes somehow works with this off the wall video. Director Sou Ootsuki is quite a genius for such a jolly creation.

Edward Sharpe x The Magnetic Zeros
9/30/2009 2:07:20 PM

Edward Shape & The Magnetic Zeros- This band has appeared on Day N Night Blog before but I had to make further note of them.

Last Sunday at Venice Beach's Abbot Kinney Festival these guys played one of the most entertaining, visually interesting, and overall mind-blowing performances I have seen this year.

When the 12-piece band walked on stage, I was expecting a Wide Spread Panic style jam band to start playing. What I actually experienced was a rock n' roll band incorporating aspects of many genres, and performing it like champions.

If you wanna catch them, they are playing multiple shows this month throughout California and the great NW. Click the links below for exact tour dates.Check out their music on Myspace.
Visit the band's website.
