Simple is Pure

Here are two moments.
One on land, following fog blanketed 4x4 tracks into the unknown, looking for waves in the sharkiest zone in Australia. On the fringe of the Great Australian Bight.
The second. Simplicity in the middle of chaos. A frozen surfer, in shadow of a near by pier while standing tall, gaining speed between moves.
Enjoy.
Trent.

Wow I can't wait until I see the final printed collection of all the Pure Photographers, seriously. There's such a great, diverse body of work between everyone. I just had a flick through all the blogs and the quality and diversity of everyones take on life is amazing. Such a cool project and should look great when its all printed and bound into a nice mag. Can't wait …

| This picture is a detailed abstraction of the crest of a breaking wave at dawn. |

Pure Lines

| Nature is so funny. And so is the sea. Who would have thought that the sea, an ever changing organically shaped body of water could create such a linear image as the one below? Stacked and lined up with such contrast and symmetry, this shot feels surreal. |

| Today is a very exciting day!
A bunch of us are preping my first solo show that kicks off at 6pm on Friday 18th. A whole lot of the boys down at Concrete Crayons gallery are working their guts off to get my show looking as good as possible. Its coming together as I kick back and type away.
The prints have come in and look amazing. I am over the moon!
And next is the Lifelounge gig tonight! Amazing! I'm heading in town to the office at 4pm to say hi to the crew, have some well deserved beers and have a great photo filled evening.
All right, I best be off. Heaps to do!
Have a lovely day!

Twisted

A beautiful lip twist.
This is larger and more dangerous than you think.
Look for the human head in the picture for scale.
Pure twisting warps on the south coast of NSW.
Enjoy.
