The Krink Mini Project
<< Back
Krink it good Nov 05, 2009 at 09:31
I have always been a fan of Craig Costello and his works on various inanimate objects over the years. So it is with much interest that I saw this video and post on a project that he just released with Mini Cooper. The launch was held in Erste Liebe Bar last week in Hamburg, Germany. I had never actually seen any video of him working, but I can tell you, my bin is going to get a working over this weekend to say the least.

May be a while before the car gets it.

Check out the video below.

Can you explain this to me please Jamie. I mean, I don't know much about cars or art, so any guidance on how to gain a deeper appreciation of this would be helpful.

Come on Freeak, get with the program.
True Respect
Yeah Freeak. Drips are easy, 100 pigeons could achieve the same result…

The man has spoken. I can see what they were trying to do, reviving the Art Cars thing (http://tinyurl.com/bmwartcars) but i think they missed the mark.

So it's like when a rich guy lights his cigar with a hundred dollar bill? Except the cigar is a car and the lighter is one of the big boys of the marker scene.

Totally with you on the pigeons call Merda. I mean, it's kind of cool. But why? They've painted the windows so it's not practical. And I just don't think it's awesome enough to be an "art" piece. If they're launching a car that is so inherently same same as its predecessor, I understand the need for something different to get it some publicity, but this feels more like a Halloween prank that you'd get pissed off about. A Mini is a thing of beauty. A style icon. And here they've just kind of messied it up some.

Of subject but how cool is google today? Best one ever!
