Some things Break Aug 28, 2008 at 01:39
The National Grid Gallery invites you to the opening of Some Things Break , a new collection of artwork by Brisbane's very talented Simon Degroot.

Some Things Break like when you’re a kid play wrestling in the yard, performing pretend karate chops and throwing pretend punches. Until one sweet punch hits you right in the face. That’s the start of something big, from then on you realise that you can’t keep everything new and clean. You loosen your grip and stop trying to tidy and polish and freshen. You role with the punches. You get fire in your eyes. Then you begin to create.

Join us for drinks with the artist on Saturday the 30th of August 2008 from 4-7pm. Show closes 20th September 2008. RSVPs are appreciated.
