This sixteen–year-old skater from Kansas now knows why there’s no place like home, Toto. Sean Malto is already no stranger to the spotlight or jetsetting all over the globe, and was even recently in Oz with the mighty DC team. Must have followed the yellow brick road here? Whatever, lucky for us the kid from Kansas seemed happy to be on the road, and preferred performing mighty hard flips for his fans rather than clicking his heels together three times and disappearing in a puff of smoke…
His undeniable style and ability saw him win over the crowds of onlookers at all the Australian DC tour stops, and the kid held his own amongst his seasoned peers. And you know what else? Got a feeling Sean won’t be spending much time in good ‘ol Kansas for a long time to come too. Since catapulting into the spotlight last year, he was already scoring stacks of photo coverage before his burgeoning profile was bolstered further by double page ads going out in all the major U.S. mags – Skateboarder, TWS, Thrasher, Slap, TSM, - of a frontside salad grind for sponsor Analog and then again with a pop shuv sequence down a twelve stair set for DC. Add to that clips for Girl with more movie parts on the way, and it’s safe to say that teen king Sean’s already bigger than lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Yep, the kid’s a bonafide star – keep an eye out for him my pretties.
