JENNY WILSON/ LOVE AND YOUTH
RABID

Jenny Wilson is an artist – the real deal. Hailing from Sweden this talented, more than capable individual seems eager to explore beyond the boundaries and stray from the tempting moulds that stifle so many of today’s muso’s.

After two albums with band First Floor Power and the experience of writing a musical score for The Town Theatre in Stockholm, her decision to create as a solo artist has proven positive. Writing, producing, recording and performing all instrumentation on this album, ‘Love and Youth’ is a stellar result. Her sound is akin to a modern day Tori Amos or Kate Bush shaken with the classic electro-sounds of Juno Synth, live and programmed drums, piano, guitar and lush harmonies. She has an ability to combine light & dark with melody & rhythm seamlessly into accessible idiosyncratic - pop flavoured songs, and it has begun to turn heads. Touring in an expanded live outfit across Europe with dates including Roskilde festival should help solidify her rise to success.
