Graffiti is like jungle fungi. From the dank and musty nooks it creeps and sprouts overnight. Odd awkward shapes with glaring bright colours in the daylight. Just downhill from the porno shops and strip joints that surround the Moulin Rouge, but on the very same street, is an industrial area. A strip of industry, living cheek by jowl, that never sleeps. The News Paper Delivery guys are knocking off when the Butchers are clocking on, the Picker Packers are loading their first boxes when the Removlist blokes are getting back for lunch. Out the front of every business is a truck, a couple of plastic seats, and one or two sour blokes getting the most out of their cigarette. Everyone of these trucks is painted from top to bottom. And it's awesome. I have like 50 photos of these trucks from Avenue de Clichy, it was hard to choose but these are the pick of the bunch.
