When I looked at some of these album covers, it made me think of the syrupy sweet Khmer songs I listened to on a twelve hour bus ride in Cambodia. Everybody was smiling and singing along, it was magical and I loved it. For about fifteen minutes. Then I just wanted off that crappy bus so I could go have a cry.
Anyway, these album covers are from one guy's huge collection of 60s and 70s Thai, Singaporean, Indonesian, and Japanese pop records. They are super daggy and super sweet. Enjoy them, and you can see many more at
