Hard Copy: The Serpents vs Hijacked Art Feature
Words By: Dimitri Kalagas

:It takes a big magazine to admit there are actually other good magazines out there. Hailing from Perth (just far enough away so we don't feel threatened), Hijacked zine is produced on an overworked xerox machine, and is 135 pages of perfect bound black and white goodness. Issue 8, The Serpents Issue, has been guest edited by our compadre and Key Serpent, Tristan Ceddia, who's extensive list of collaborators include Blank, Revolver, Princess Tina, Modular Records, Stussy, Crookneck Records and Sneaker Freaker Magazine. It showcases the creative work of the Serpents, a rag tag bunch of artists, musicians, graphic designers, photographers, graffiti writers, tattoo artists and comes stuffed with a heap of photos, graphics and interviews with some key Serps Perps. So if you want to get your inky little hands on a copy of Hijacked 8 or just find out what the fuck a Serps Perp is, check out: www.keithandlottie.com/hijacked/

Despite the menacing title, the Serps are actually a generous bunch and have given us two Serpents/Hijacked packs containing a limited edition tee and a copy of Hijacked 8 to give away. To get your hands on one, email dimitri@lifelounge.com with your Lifelounge username (if you don't have one, sign up) and 25 words or less about why you deserve to take one of these little suckers home.
