| AKA brunette vs blonde – the battle continues |

You know, I can appreciate a gorgeous blonde in the street or even in a magazine. I can think “Phwoah, hot much?” and any other descriptor you can think of. But when it comes down to the wire, when I have to make my choice, it’s ALWAYS been brunette. No reason, it just has been. I have never been able to love a blonde, or sustain a great relationship with one. Call me crazy, but it’s a pattern, it’s in-built, my creator made me this way.
It’s the same with Ferrari and Lamborghini for me. Lambos represent that hot blonde that everyone can appreciate. Intellectually, one can understand that they are smokin’ hot. They would be AMAZING to drive, but when it came down to the crunch, wouldn't you just go straight past the dealership and buy a Ferrari?
Enzo Ferrari was born in February 1898 and that makes him 111-years-old – if, of course, he were still alive. He is alive in a way, in every piston and hand-crafted engine that is still made to this day in his Maranello factory in Italy.
The funny thing about the famous rivalry between Ferrari and Lamborghini is that Lamborghini was actually born out of one mans dissatisfaction with his Ferrari. The story famously goes that Italian tractor magnate Ferruccio Lamborghini never liked racing and would not have bothered getting into the car business had his personal Ferrari not given him so much mechanical trouble. Lamborghini presented his concerns to Enzo Ferrari, who told him to go soak his head and Ferruccio stormed off, vowing to build a better car.
This Italian rivalry is hilarious (and nothing like the imagined rivalry between blondes and brunettes) – two small companies trying to outdo each other for the past 50 years in the supercar field. The real winners are the consumers, because the results have been stunning.
The question reamins though; which would you marry? To own a Ferrari would be akin to being married to Monica Bellucci. A beautifully crafted Italian thoroughbred. The Lambo? No idea, not interested.
