Farrah Fawcett – actress, sex symbol, a woman who started a hair revolution, wore that red swimsuit, was painted gold for a Playboy shoot, and was everybody's favourite Angel (even Charlie's) – has died after a long battle with cancer. She was 62-years-old.
Fawcett was most famous for her role in Charlie's Angels but also appeared in I Dream of Jeannie, The Flying Nun, S.W.A.T. and films Love Is a Funny Thing and The Cannonball Run amongst many others.
Fawcett's longtime on-and-off partner Ryan O'Neal apparently talked with her throughout the night and was with her when she passed. The couple have known each-other since 1982 and have a son, Redmond, together.
