UK-based Famous When Dead is an artist, designer, and illustrator who apparently simply brings to life his "confusing visions at strange hours of the
day from his home studio; where the walls are made of pink marshmallow and the
floor ran away in the mid 80s". He studied illustration and graphic design at Newcastle under Lyme College and after his dreams of becoming a robot were quashed, he became an artist and a husband and a father. Not in that order.
FMD's artworks are rainbow and candy coloured treats that are exaggerated and twisted versions of the real world; gritty, funny, and oddball.
