Petite things are hilarious.
Webster, miniature horses, those baby corns you find in stir-fries. But
some petite things are actually quite good, maybe even great, like
Petite Morte – a small group of jewellery makers with big ideas. Like
miniature spray can pendants that actually make that “I’m about to
deface your big white wall” noise when you shake them. Or the miniature
sneakers and stereos that have an attention to detail you’d expect from
something much more expensive. But Petite Morte’s real specialty is
transforming 2D logos or tags into 3D masterpieces. I’ve already
ordered a miniature corn in white gold.
